We start by discussing relevant points of your life and focus on how Your One Degree can directly apply to you. In this process we provide material for you to work through.
We listen to what is going on in your life and the decisions / situations you are facing.
We coach you through the material until you have clarity in your conclusions. Then we help you apply your conclusions to your current and future real-life decisions / situations.
The process takes 1-6 months to complete, based upon the aggressiveness and thoroughness of you, the participant.

How do I make donations? How much does it cost?
This is a coaching ministry largely funded by donations and grants. Most coaching/guiding provided by Dave has been funded, but other One Degree coaches are free to charge their clients. Also, we do charge for participation in workshops and 8-10 week classes. If you prefer to make a donation, click below for detailed instructions. What is Dave's/or other coach's role?
Dave/or other coach, provides material that enables guided reflection and self-assessment. He/she works with the individual via the phone and email, or if applicable face-to-face, to help them get clarity and understanding regarding who they really are, what their strengths are, and how they can focus their lives to leverage those facts. He/she does not hype or promote or tell you what he/she thinks you want to hear.
How do I know when I have completed the coaching process?
Initially, you will complete the coaching process when your confidence in what you've learned is applied to your current decisions, roles, and responsibilities. While Dave/other coach will not pressure you to finish or continue, he/she will give you their opinion on your best next step(s). The time allotted in the process is generally more than enough to bring you to a sense of completion for where you find yourself at this point in life. It is hoped that you will utilize Dave/other coach as a sounding board or advisor in the years ahead as you find yourself in a new stage of life or level of responsibility.
What about confidentiality?
All of the discussions, your feedback from questions, etc., both verbal and in writing are held strictly confidential. The materials from this website are copyrighted and we request that they not be made available to other parties without written authorization from YourOneDegree.com.
Does Dave/other coaches provide marriage or psychological counseling?
No. While some principles and wisdom gleaned from this process will aid a marriage, this is not the main purpose of this process. The self-assessments are not psychological in nature. We are not probing why you are who you are, we are just trying to help you get practical answers to predominant aspects of your life and how you can best use and leverage those to maximize your life.
